Create Your Own Fund

Forever Park means your legacy will continue long after you’re gone – decades, maybe even centuries into the future. If you believe Balboa Park is a precious asset to San Diego’s future, support the Balboa Park Endowment. Make a tax deductible gift of cash, real estate or securities. Create your own fund. Make provisions in your estate plan. Leave something that lives beyond your lifetime.

Specify a particular focus
You can give for the general enhancement and beautification of the Park.
Or you can specify a particular focus for your money, such as for flowers and trees, sidewalks, fountains and playgrounds, or even celebratory events like “Buds n’ Blooms: A Floral Festival.” In any case, your money will grow over time and will always be used for the purpose for which it was given – to benefit our Balboa Park.

Create your own fund
Or maybe you see a need that has been overlooked – create your own Balboa Park fund! Name it in loving memory of someone or in thanksgiving for special times spent in the Park. The Balboa Park Endowment Committee diligently examines current needs and partners with the Park and Recreation staff to determine the best way to enhance our Park above and beyond the minimal governmental support.
