The Balboa Park Endowment at The San Diego Foundation
is a group of permanent funds begun by concerned citizens
in 1985. The principal will never be spent, with a
portion of the earnings ensuring the continuous support
of the Park.
The San Diego Foundation Balboa Park Endowment support
the enrichment and enhancement of the Park and its
cultural and recreational programs. Grants are recommended
by a volunteer advisory committee made up of community
leaders who are committed to the beautification and
improvement of the Park. We also strive to foster
public appreciation, understanding, and utilization
of Balboa Park.
